Job Description
Support communities with implementing best practice strategies to provide expert consulting skills and programmatic expertise to serve the needs of low- and moderate-income families. Work with a national team of training and technical assistance providers to provide technical assistance to cities, counties, states, and nonprofit entities receiving technical assistance through HUD and other industry partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Public Administration, Planning, Public Policy, Government or a related discipline or minimum 10 years of professional experience in similar field
  • Minimum of 20 years knowledge in HUD Office of Affordable Housing Programs
  • Demonstrated success developing and delivering trainings, workshops and webinars; facilitation, and public speaking to a variety of audiences
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems, and recommend solutions
  • Ability to multi-task with various projects and responsibilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
