Community Engagement and Donor Experience Coordinator

The Community Engagement and Donor Experience Coordinator supports Metropolitan Ministries' community engagement efforts by fostering meaningful relationships with donors, volunteers, businesses, faith communities, civic organizations, and community partners. This position helps grow participation in donation drives, in-kind giving, volunteerism, and community partnership opportunities that advance the organization's mission.

What You Will Do

The Coordinator provides excellent customer service, supports donor and volunteer engagement activities, coordinates community initiatives and events, and maintains accurate records to ensure a positive and impactful experience for all stakeholders.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; college coursework or degree preferred.
• Experience in customer service, community engagement, volunteer management, fundraising, nonprofit operations, or related fields preferred.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/database systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and collaboratively, and maintain attention to detail.
• Commitment to serving diverse populations and advancing the mission of Metropolitan Ministries.
• Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holiday periods as needed.
