Role Overview

The Community Engagement Associate will support staff-led efforts that expand access to digital skills training and increase awareness of workforce development services throughout south central Kansas. The Member will assist with digital skills education, community outreach, customer engagement, workshop delivery, resource navigation and referral support, referral coordination, and data collection activities.

What You Will Do

Deliver digital skills, workforce readiness, and employment-related workshops for job seekers and community members. Assist with outreach efforts, support customer engagement activities, participate in community partnership and stakeholder engagement efforts, collect and maintain service-related data, and help prepare and maintain training materials.

Requirements

  • Be a U.S. Citizen, National, or Lawful Permanent Resident
  • Hold a high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Be 17 years of age or older by the start of service
  • Have not already served four (4) or more AmeriCorps State/National terms
