Role OverviewAs a Community Engagement Coordinator in the Climate Corps Fellowship program, you'll contribute to impactful sustainability initiatives with Silicon Valley Clean Energy Authority. This is a hybrid position with the expectation of onsite work 3+ days per quarter, as well as regular events throughout Santa Clara County.
What You Will Do
You will support SVCE's marketing, communications, and engagement team in the Customer Success department. Your primary responsibilities will be to interact with SVCE customers at local events, coordinate education programs, and manage social media accounts.

Requirements
- Strong communicator with customer service experience and skills in writing and public speaking
- Manages tasks and projects efficiently, with attention to detail, and stays organized on project management tools like Asana, monday.com, Trello, etc.
- Creative and social media savvy; someone with an eye for design and with knowledge of social media trends and how to capture content
- Familiar with graphic design tools like Canva or Adobe Illustrator/Express
- Familiar with social media video editing tools like InShot, CapCut, and/or Adobe Premiere
- Valid driver's license and reliable access to a vehicle
- The ability to work onsite on a hybrid basis and attend events throughout the county
- Commitment to a fair workplace that honors the experiences, voices, viewpoints, and values of all individuals
- Authorization to work in the United States for the duration of the fellowship (SEI is unable to sponsor visas)
- May require occasional moving about to accomplish tasks, moving from one worksite to another, or adjusting or moving objects under 25-50 pounds in all directions
