Community Engagement Manager

As the Community Engagement Manager, you will cultivate meaningful relationships that strengthen ICAN's presence throughout the community while creating exceptional volunteer experiences that support our mission. You will serve as the bridge between ICAN, our corporate and community partners, volunteers, and internal teams, ensuring every engagement creates value for our youth, strengthens community awareness, and builds long-term partnerships.

What You Will Do

You will develop, strengthen, and steward relationships with corporations, civic organizations, faith-based organizations, community groups, and other partners that support ICAN's mission through volunteerism, in-kind donations, and community engagement. You will also lead the planning and coordination of corporate and community engagement experiences, coordinate logistics, communications, scheduling, orientations, and volunteer preparation, and capture stories, photos, and impact to support stewardship and future engagement.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in community engagement, volunteer management, nonprofit development, corporate partnerships, community relations, or a related field
• Experience building and maintaining professional relationships with community organizations, businesses, or volunteers
• Strong relationship-building, networking, and interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple events and priorities simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments while balancing competing priorities
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically while executing day-to-day responsibilities
• Experience coordinating volunteer or community engagement initiatives preferred
• Experience with donor, volunteer, or CRM databases preferred
• Valid Arizona driver's license and dependable transportation
• Ability to occasionally work evenings and weekends for volunteer events and community engagement activities
