Role Overview

The Community Engagement Specialist is responsible for business development and deposit growth for the Retail Department. This role is focused on sales driven by developing and maintaining long term relationships with consumer and business clients. Proactively sources new consumer and small business accounts and initiates calls to strengthen relationships with commercial partners, clients, and other businesses within the community.

What You Will Do

Build and manage the Partnership Banking Program, schedule regular on-site events, make presentations in the workplace, and provide excellent experiences to all relationships. Host community awareness events, support sales staff, and coordinate branch connections with clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or an equivalent of education and experience
  • Three years of Relationship banking experience or five years of financial sales experience
  • Strong leadership skills with a desire to develop others
  • Solid understanding of various standard financial reports
  • Ability to interpret, analyze, and communicate financial information effectively
  • Ability to make sound decisions and exceptions on behalf of the bank
  • Capability to prioritize and execute a variety of tasks simultaneously
  • Capability to utilize various banking software and Microsoft 365 products
