Job Description
The Community Liaison will be responsible for expanding the reach of SBS's services and ensuring equity in all agency outreach to jobseekers, small business owners, and community-based organizations. The role will involve raising awareness of SBS services on the ground across communities through tabling, canvassing, in-person and virtual presentations, and more.

Requirements

  • Help plan and coordinate outreach events to meet strategic objectives
  • Conduct on-the-ground outreach to small businesses and job seekers across the city
  • Educate stakeholders on SBS services and resources, including through public presentations
  • Represent SBS and the SBS Commissioner at events
  • Identify strategic community partnerships and coordinate with them to outreach opportunities
  • Work collaboratively with SBS Divisions and other units
