Job Description
The Community Nutrition Coordinator is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist that will serve as the clinical and technical authority for a new statewide community-based nutrition program as part of the Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH) county health departments. This position develops, implements, and manages a community nutrition care model that provides individualized nutrition services to children and families referred through health assessments, care coordination, and community partnerships.
Requirements
Develop and maintain clinical protocols, pediatric-focused nutrition care pathways, workflows, documentation standards, and referral processes.
Assemble and directly supervise a team of registered dietitian nutritionists and lactation specialists at the state-level to implement, administer and support this new statewide community-based nutrition model.
Lead the development, implementation and periodic review of policies, procedures, and training materials guiding community nutrition services statewide.
Create performance metrics and quality improvement processes.
