Role Overview

Develops, cultivates, and manages strategic relationships with community organizations, schools, businesses, and other stakeholders to advance the mission and impact of Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains (GSTOP).

What You Will Do

Identifies partnership opportunities, develops and implements community-based initiatives, outreach efforts, and program opportunities that support positive outcomes for girls. Champions diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, access, and racial justice through community engagement, partnership development, and outreach efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, social sciences, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Bilingual in Spanish, preferred.
  • Enjoys working with girls of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.
  • Commitment to the mission and purpose of Girl Scouting.
  • Membership in the Girl Scout organization.
  • Must be willing to work with all people without regard to race, religion, ethnic origin, socio-economic status, sexual orientation, age, or disability.
  • Experience in planning, scheduling, and implementing programs for youth and experience with volunteer management, program evaluation/outcome measures and or community organizing.
  • Proven ability to work with volunteers, community leaders, organizations, and businesses.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and produce results.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including travel, nights, and weekends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Verbal fluency, good grammar, and professional appearance.
  • Have and maintain a valid Texas driver’s license, an acceptable driving record, acceptable insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Must complete and pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle records check and drug screening.
