Role OverviewThe Community Referral Specialist will manage all incoming referrals from a selection of key referral sources, evaluating them for admission to PruittHealth, leveraging clinical experience and an understanding of Home Health agencies.
What You Will Do
The Community Referral Specialist will review patient referrals, respond on behalf of PruittHealth, accurately complete referral documentation, manage incoming calls, and verify insurance and eligibility.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year experience working in a healthcare environment
- Fluent with all Regulatory agencies, reimbursement systems and levels of care
- Knowledge of private insurance and Medicare coverage criteria, rules and regulations
- Clerical and Computer skills required including experience with data entry
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology
