Role OverviewThe Community Residence Counselor provides direct patient care and participates in the therapeutic milieu within the scope of defined practice under the direction of the Program Manager.
What You Will Do
Direct patient care, community activities, patient rounds, status checks, and team meetings. Completes assigned patient care tasks, manages the therapeutic milieu, and communicates information regarding the patient milieu and therapeutic environment.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have one year of patient care or related experience, preferably in a psychiatric setting, and a high school diploma or equivalent with a bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study (Preferred)
- One-year patient care or related experience
- Driver's license (MA, CT, NH, NY, RI, VT)
- Time Management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Maintains a commitment to professional growth and competency
- Basic computer skills
- Familiarity with Epic (Preferred)
