Job Description
Thresholds is seeking a Community Support Specialist to provide mental health and substance use treatment support in the community. The ideal candidate will have personal lived experiences with mental health recovery and a passion for mental health advocacy. As a peer professional, you will collaborate with the team to advocate for clients and provide insight into the lived experience of recovery.

Requirements

  • Lived and living experience with personal mental health recovery
  • Passion for mental health advocacy
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills
  • Good writing skills
  • Strong time management and organization
  • Age 21 years or older
  • Valid driver's license, current car insurance, and daily access to a car
  • Willingness to provide transportation to clients
