Job Description
Role Overview

We are seeking an organized, mission-driven Community & Volunteer Engagement Coordinator to strengthen and expand our corps of JFS volunteers. This role is responsible for onboarding, engaging, and supporting volunteers; facilitating community engagement initiatives; and maintaining accurate volunteer data and reporting.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with or managing volunteers
  • 1–2 years of customer service experience in a professional setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience with public speaking
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage time independently
  • Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and initiative
  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience working across teams and with external partners
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Access to a reliable vehicle and automobile insurance
