Role OverviewThe ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills with demonstrated success in areas associated with Production and Quality. This position will interact closely with Operations, Customer Service, Scheduling, Engineering, and Suppliers to ensure correct materials are purchased and delivered on time to meet customer requirements while ensuring a high level of quality and maximizing revenue.
What You Will Do
Experience using standard measurement equipment, product knowledge of compressor components and assembly, ability to read engineering prints, dimensional inspection, visual inspection, witness compressor testing, and ensure travelers are filled out completely.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The position requires working and communicating with multiple departments on a daily basis to help identify and solve problems on the shop floor. Previous quality experience or in-depth product knowledge is required to offset required quality experience.
Requirements
- Experience using standard measurement equipment
- Product Knowledge of Compressor Components and Assembly
- Ability to read engineering prints
- Dimensional Inspection of each Critical Components to Drawing Specifications
- Visual Inspection – Audits Compressors on the Assembly Line, Test, Paint and Final Assembly
- Witness Compressor Testing and sign travelers as needed
- Ensure travelers are filled out Completely, and Internal Assemblies Sign Offs has been Signed Prior to Testing
- Previous Quality Experience or In-Depth Product Knowledge to Off Set Required Quality Experience
