Job Description
The Compliance Auditor I, II position is responsible for supporting the Internal Audit/External Audit and Monitoring function of the SCF Corporate Compliance department. The position involves planning and executing external and internal audits to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations, assessing risks, evaluating controls, reporting findings and recommendations, and monitoring corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, health, public health, administration, or related field; OR equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
  • Two (2) years of experience in one of the following: healthcare, compliance, privacy, regulatory, legal, audit, quality, review, investigations, or education/training to include a minimum of one (1) year working in an auditing function focused on legal, regulatory, healthcare compliance, revenue cycle.
  • Certification in one of the following: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified in Health Care Compliance (CHC), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA)
