Job Description
The Compliance Coordinator for Florida operations ensures regulatory adherence across retail, cultivation, and processing sectors, requiring practical knowledge of Florida’s medical cannabis laws and experience in submitting, monitoring, or interpreting Variance Requests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in compliance or regulations.
  • Strong working knowledge of Section 381.986, Florida Statutes, and OMMU Rules and Regulations.
  • Experience with variance requests or regulatory petitions within the Florida medical cannabis program.
  • Previous compliance experience in retail, cultivation, and processing environments.
  • Excellent technical writing skills, including creating SOPs, responding to regulatory agencies, and developing structured documentation.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and document management skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and clearly communicate regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications.
