Role OverviewThe Compliance Specialist supports the organization's compliance management program by ensuring adherence to federal and state mortgage regulations, investor requirements, and internal policies. This role partners closely with mortgage operations, underwriting, processing, closing, and leadership teams to provide compliance guidance, support regulatory reporting, and promote consistent, compliant lending practices throughout the loan lifecycle.

Responsibilities include compliance monitoring and support, regulatory reporting and licensing, disclosure and operational support, and training and compliance culture. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of mortgage lending regulations, disclosure requirements, quality control processes, and compliance monitoring activities.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three (3) or more years of experience in mortgage compliance, quality control, audit, mortgage operations, underwriting, processing, or a related field
- Working knowledge of mortgage lending regulations and disclosure requirements
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
