Compliance Specialist 2 job description. The Compliance Specialist will work in the Insurance Consumer Services (ICS) Bureau, ensuring compliance with state and federal insurance laws and regulations. The role involves investigating consumer complaints, evaluating policies, and providing education to consumers. The position requires a bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, and a minimum of three years of related insurance experience. The role is an in-office position, and the successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and conducting effective investigations.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
Minimum of three (3) years of related insurance experience
Three or more years of Property & Casualty or Life & Health experience is preferred
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to handle a variety of sensitive communications with individuals, both externally and within the agency
Ability to provide excellent customer service and conduct effective investigations
Knowledge of insurance industry-specific rules, regulations, and statutes
Skill in handling complex legal disputes and making informed decisions
