The Compliance Specialist will work in the Insurance Consumer Services (ICS) Bureau, ensuring compliance with state and federal insurance laws and regulations. The position requires a bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, and a minimum of three years of related insurance experience. The role is an in-office position, and the successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and conducting effective investigations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years of related insurance experience
  • Three or more years of Property & Casualty or Life & Health experience is preferred
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to handle a variety of sensitive communications with individuals, both externally and within the agency
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and conduct effective investigations
  • Knowledge of insurance industry-specific rules, regulations, and statutes
  • Skill in handling complex legal disputes and making informed decisions
