Role OverviewGSF Properties Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Compliance Specialist to join our corporate team in Fresno, CA. This position plays a vital role in supporting compliance across our affordable housing portfolio, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local housing regulations, as well as internal policies.
What You Will Do
Review applicant, move-in, and recertification files for compliance with LIHTC, HUD, Section 8, Fair Housing, and other affordable housing regulations. Verify income, assets, eligibility, and rent calculations to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Requirements
- Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in affordable housing compliance, property management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of tax credit compliance, including file reviews, certifications and recertifications, income calculations, and eligibility determinations.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to accurately review and analyze complex documentation.
- Proficiency in RealPage or Yardi is required.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information
