Role Overview

As a Composite Technician I at Albany Engineered Composites, you will perform lay-up, braiding, and filament winding of composite materials in accordance with customer and company specifications and requirements. What You Will Do

Your primary responsibilities will include identifying process materials, assisting with cutting and kitting materials, completing lay-ups using measuring instruments, vacuum bagging basic shapes and sizes, and assisting in loading autoclaves and/or ovens.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to identify different process materials, prepregs, adhesives, and resins
  • Ability to complete lay-ups using measuring instruments per shop orders, blue prints, or laser ply projector
