Role OverviewThe Compounding Supervisor oversees staff responsible for the efficient, accurate, and consistent processing of all raw materials needed for the quality production of personal care products. They plan, organize, direct, and control all functions within the Compounding Department related to the manufacturing of bulk products.
What You Will Do
The Compounding Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all functions within the Compounding Department. They lead, assign, and supervise the activities of compounding and pre-weigh departments to achieve KPI targets, quality expectations, and uphold a safe work environment.

- Ability to read, analyze and interpret SOP's, manufacturing instructions, and work instructions
- Ability to read and understand safety data sheets and experience with GHS labeling
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers
- Ability to work with, understand, and interpret mathematical calculations/conversions relating to weights, measurements, and formulas of raw materials and finished bulk
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals to successfully accomplish compounding needs and demands
- Strong organization skills
- Mechanical aptitude/background is preferred
- Experience with six sigma or lean manufacturing preferred
- Experience working in an FDA regulated environment strongly preferred
