Job Description
The Comptroller's Office is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join its Cloud Administration team. The team supports and manages CPA's AWS cloud environments, and the ideal candidate will have experience with AWS cloud computing technologies, automation frameworks, and customer service in an IT environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business information systems, computer information systems, or management information systems
  • Five years' working experience with system engineering
  • Three years' automation framework experience (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet, CloudFormation)
  • Two years' working experience in AWS cloud computing technologies and techniques
  • Two years' experience performing customer service in an IT environment
  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree is required
  • Preferred qualifications include four years' experience in Linux-based development environment, three years' experience in developing and deploying solution proofs of concept and capability demonstrations, and experience with scripting languages such as Ruby, BASH, PHP, and Python
