Job Description
The Comptroller's Office is seeking an experienced IT leader to guide the team responsible for maintaining and evolving the core systems that process Sales, Franchise, and other statewide taxes. The ideal candidate combines strong technical and people leadership skills with a passion for modernization and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree
  • Five (5) years' experience in the management and direction of a program relevant to the assignment
  • Five (5) years' experience with establishing plans and setting objectives and goals that support an overall business strategy
  • Three (3) years' experience in Agile software development methodologies
  • Three (3) years' experience with sales, use, and franchise tax processing systems
  • Three (3) years' experience in Application Modernization and architectural strategy, specifically, mission-critical systems and transitioning to modern architectures
  • Three (3) years' experience and knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations relevant to program areas; and of the principles and practices of public administration and management
