Job Description
The Comptroller's Office is seeking a Taxpayer Enforcement Officer to enforce and promote compliance of Title 2 of the Texas Tax Code and related statutes. The role involves working with the public, taxpayers, and state and local authorities to provide education on tax laws and conduct individualized tax analysis.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited high school or successful completion of the General Educational Development test (GED)
  • 2 years full time work experience in a related field to include but not limited to work in accounting, bookkeeping, a call center, clerical/administrative, collections, or record keeping
  • Valid Texas (or state of residency) driver's license and a satisfactory driving record
