Role Overview

The Comptroller's Office is seeking a Comptroller - Web Developer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, updating, and maintaining static and dynamic web pages, as well as ensuring web pages meet Section 508 accessibility standards. The role requires a strong understanding of computer systems, advanced Javascript, PHP, HTML5, CSS, and current website technology.

In this role, you will develop innovative web solutions that meet agency and user needs with respect to usability, functionality, and performance. You will also coordinate file deployment to agency web servers, ensure web pages meet accessibility standards, and provide responsive support to internal customers.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum four (4) years' experience in frontend web development and management of complex websites utilizing PHP and Javascript, and/or other programming languages
  • Understanding of responsive web design and best user experience practices
  • Knowledge of creating websites accessible across different browsers
