Job Description
UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a Computational Biologist I to support scientific research using technical knowledge of software, software development, networking, and/or hardware in a complex computing environment.

Requirements

  • Hold a graduate degree in computational biology, bioinformatics, biostatistics, data science, computer science or a related quantitative field
  • Have strong research design and analytical skills, and a passion for translational medical research
  • Have experience and knowledge of computational principles
  • Have proficiency with Python and/or R
  • Have experience with statistical modeling and machine learning in biomedical data analysis
