Role OverviewMercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. As a Computational Chemist, you will work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance. You will source material from published papers, Kaggle datasets, open-source repositories, or self-designed scenarios, and work with Python, R, or another relevant programming language for scientific computing.
What You Will Do
Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include writing scientific prompts based on input to challenge current AI models, building grading criteria that define correct answers for scientific tasks, and calibrating tasks against frontier models.
