Job Description
We are seeking a Computational Scientist to work with our research group in analyzing sequencing data to identify structural variants within the human genome. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in genetics or a related field, experience in statistical genetics, and a deep computational background. They will work with an interdisciplinary group of scientists to characterize genomic variation contributing to human disease.

Requirements

  • PhD in genetics or a related field
  • Experience in statistical genetics
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language
  • Experience with cloud-based computing
  • Familiarity with next-generation sequence data analysis tools
  • Experience with publicly available genetic databases
