Role Overview

The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine seeks a Computational Scientist to develop innovative computational methods and provide solutions that leverage various techniques, including mathematical theories and engineering principles. This position involves collaboration with team members to address complex challenges effectively.

What You Will Do

Collaborate in problem assessment, analysis, and development of computational methods or procedures; propose solutions in engineering, the sciences, and other fields using mathematical theories and techniques; optimize and extend algorithms, analysis pipelines, and software.

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree in a related field
  • Master's degree in a related field and two (2) years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and four (4) years of related experience
  • Proven expertise in both frontend and backend web development, particularly in Python
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems and construct solutions
  • Consulting skills
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and display statistical data
  • Thorough knowledge of organization or research specific computer application programs

Benefits

  • Salary range: $85,600 - $139,100
