Job Description
The NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) seeks a Computer Aide II to support the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Systems Team. The role involves maintaining, securing, and improving SCADA systems that monitor and control BWS infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Providing technical support for SCADA systems
  • Assisting with the design, implementation, and maintenance of SCADA systems
  • Configuring and testing SCADA software and hardware
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues with SCADA systems
  • Working with third party vendors/contractors to ensure proper installation, reliability, accuracy, and maintenance of computer hardware and supporting control systems
  • Troubleshooting and resolving computer system issues
  • Maintaining documentation of SCADA systems and processes
