Role OverviewThe Computer Network Architect is responsible for the design, implementation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of secure enterprise network infrastructure supporting 66 ABG/SC and its customer community. The role provides advanced technical expertise for routing, switching, network security, Cisco ISE, and voice-enabled network environments while supporting high availability, performance, and compliance with DoD, Air Force, and DISA standards.
What You Will Do
Design, manage, implement, and troubleshoot network solutions in accordance with Air Force enterprise standards supporting 66 ABG/SC and its customers under Core Services. Perform daily operational tasks and upgrade projects involving remedy tickets, routers, switches, IP address management, network management tools, and integration of new networks into the existing architecture.

Requirements
- B.S. degree in IT with a concentration in Networking or Computer Science
- 10 years of senior Network Engineer experience
- DoD Secret clearance
- CompTIA Security+ certification
- CCNA/CCNP certification (preferred)
- Hands-on experience with OSPF, VRF, VRRP, QoS, VLAN, STP, 802.1X/Dot1x, IP access control lists, IPsec, and Virtual Chassis/Stacking
- Strong Layer 2 and Layer 3 troubleshooting skills in a VoIP environment
- Experience administering and managing highly available network infrastructure supporting 7,500+ users
