Role OverviewMLGW is seeking a Computer Software Specialist 3 to analyze information requirements, develop project plans, and implement enterprise information systems. The successful candidate will have advanced-level business and information technology system practices and/or project management methodology. They will work with technical, professional, and managerial personnel to obtain data and determine information requirements, and translate user needs into cost-effective solutions.
What You Will Do
The Computer Software Specialist 3 will assess, plan, design, develop, configure, execute, install, maintain, or modify enterprise systems, web applications, client-server applications, mainframe, network, and/or personal computer operating systems. They will analyze/monitor and troubleshoot system performance, recommend modification of existing/purchased systems or development of new systems, and develop specifications for problem resolution.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or Business with a concentration in Information Systems, or a minimum of 12 hours of college-accredited Information Technology or Information Systems courses. They will have at least one year of demonstrated experience as the primary support person for a particular system or application and demonstrated knowledge and skills in one or more of the following areas: database, applications development, or application support.
