Role OverviewThe Computer Systems Analyst IV (Data/Reporting Analyst) assists in the execution of the Department of Financial Services' responsibilities for the Florida PALM Project. The role requires technical knowledge of FLAIR and other FFMIS subsystems and general knowledge regarding financial management practices and procedures. The position exercises independent judgment in formulating or assisting in the formulation of policies and procedures that affect budgeting, accounting, auditing, and reporting of public funds.

Duties include working with supervisors and leadership to establish priorities and due dates for work assignments, communicating concerns and executive contact to supervisors and/or project directors, managing deadlines in an organized manner, applying critical thinking, adhering to DFS policies, working as a team player, and preparing presentation materials.

The ideal candidate will have four years of relevant experience in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, and Computer Science. The candidate will also have experience in creating financial or operating reports, working with large sets of data for analysis or report building, and experience with financial statements.
Requirements
- Four (4) years of relevant experience in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, and Computer Science
- Three (3) years of experience in auditing, accounting, financial reporting, and/or technical experience in requirements gathering, data analysis, development, testing, and implementation
- Ability to document and analyze user requirements
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with application end-users
- Ability to provide mentoring and facilitate teamwork
