Role OverviewMcCarthy Building Companies is looking for skilled Journeymen Concrete Carpenters for an exciting project in Colorado Springs, CO. In this role, you will cut, shape, and install concrete forming systems for large concrete pours.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include forming sidewalks, pads, grade beams, and other ground level structures, safely stripping wall form systems, and assisting with the building of wall form and deck form systems.

The ideal applicant has 3+ years of proven experience as a commercial carpenter and possesses excellent carpentry techniques.
Requirements
- Prior experience with self-perform concrete work in commercial, civil, or marine environments
- Must understand level, plumb, area and volume/square concepts
- Understand construction terminology
- Identify common construction materials, hand tools, and power tools
- Proven commitment to Safety
- Work in an organized manner
- Able to work night shifts when needed
- Must have reliable transportation to/from the job site
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Must be self-motivated and can work well with others
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
- Ability to perform heavy lifting/pushing/pulling of material weighing 50 pounds
- Ability to squat, crawl, and work in confined spaces
- Minimum age 18+
