Job Description
Join FDOT and be part of the team that works as one to improve safety, enhance mobility and inspire innovation in the Florida transportation system. The selected candidate will lead the Department's prestressed and precast concrete program by supervising Field Operations staff, coordinating inspections, and conducting forensic analysis of concrete failures.

Requirements

  • Supervises employees
  • Develops work plans for Field Operation projects
  • Performs forensic analysis of failures
  • Provides technical support and expertise to address prestressed concrete and precast concrete related issues and challenges
  • Identifies and prioritizes research needs related to concrete materials
  • Develops, revises, and maintains Department specifications, procedures, manuals, and all other pertinent documents
