Job Description
The Department of Social Services is recruiting for a Conference Officer to provide representation at NYS Administrative Hearings. The role involves identifying management indicators, authorizing forms, and providing administrative rationale and documentation. The Conference Officer will also train staff, supervise, and ensure adherence to agency policies and procedures.
Requirements
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college
Three years of satisfactory full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience
One year of administrative capacity or supervising staff performing clerical/administrative work of more than moderate difficulty
An associate degree or 60 semester credits from an accredited college
Four years of satisfactory full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience
A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization
Five years of satisfactory full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience
