Role Overview

Detroit Defense is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to support laboratory environment configuration management in a dynamic defense environment. This role requires hands-on technical expertise across networking hardware, enterprise software, and DoD configuration management processes.

What You Will Do

Maintain and manage configuration management of laboratory environments, develop and update DoD configuration management documentation, support Navy Preventative Maintenance System (PMS) processes, and administer and maintain RHEL, Windows Server, and Windows Client operating systems.

Requirements

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience maintaining configuration management of laboratory environments
  • Active Security Clearance required
  • Experience with Navy Preventative Maintenance System (PMS)
  • Proficiency with RHEL, Windows Server, and Windows Client operating systems
  • Experience with VMware virtualization platforms
  • Hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation
  • Experience with Cisco networking equipment and NETSEC
  • Proficiency with CMPro and JIRA
  • Demonstrated experience developing DoD configuration management documentation
