Job Description
The Houston, TX office of Lewis Brisbois is seeking a Conflicts Attorney to work in the Conflicts Department within the Office of General Counsel. The Conflicts Attorney will review conflict check reports, identify potential conflicts, and work with attorneys to clear conflicts related to new hires.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate degree (JD) and active member of the Bar, in good standing, in the State of Texas
  • At least three (3) to ten (10) years of experience as a Lateral Conflicts Attorney in a large law firm setting with demonstrated research and complex problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with the Rules of Professional Conduct
  • Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive data; excellent verbal and written communications skills with strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Close attention to detail, collaborative team member, self-motivated and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
