Consignment Director - Music

As the Consignment Director of Music, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating property, securing consignments, building relationships, and driving business in our Music category.

Evaluate property, acquire consignments, research and authenticate property, market lots in auctions, and contribute to the expansion of the client database.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in the music industry, auctions, or high-value collectibles
• Proven expertise in appraising and valuing music-related items, with an understanding of authentication processes
• Established network of clients, collectors, and music industry professionals
• Strong negotiation and sales skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing catalog entries and marketing copy
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
