Role OverviewThe Estimator I supports the sales and preconstruction teams by developing accurate cost estimates and proposals for precast concrete projects. This role collaborates with engineering, production, field, and vendor partners to ensure complete and competitive pricing.
What You Will Do
Develop estimates for precast projects up to $2M in value, perform quantity takeoffs, and prepare preliminary budgets for cost studies. Solicit and evaluate pricing from vendors and suppliers, and coordinate with engineering, production, field, and sealants teams for estimating input.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction documents and drawings
- Proficiency in Bluebeam and Microsoft Excel
- Basic understanding of precast construction methods and project flow
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and able to work under deadlines and pressure
- Ability to learn estimating tools and construction software quickly
