Role OverviewJoin our team as a Construction Field Supervisor to support the deployment of Fiber to the Home (FTTH) networks, focusing on the construction and management of outside plant (OSP) infrastructure.
What You Will Do
Assist with planning, scheduling, and managing FTTH OSP construction projects, coordinate with contractors, and ensure adherence to project scope, schedule, and safety guidelines.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have some experience in telecom construction and will work closely with contractors, engineers, permitting agencies, general public, and internal teams.
Requirements
- Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent work experience in construction management, telecommunications, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in construction, telecom OSP, utility installation, or similar field
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
- Basic understanding of OSP construction methods
- Familiarity with aerial and underground construction practices
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, permits, and specifications
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with project management software is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Ability to work with general public to address issues
