Role OverviewThe Construction Foreman will provide direct feedback to the Project Manager on schedule, materials, and daily issues. They will be responsible for the overall quality and craftsmanship of assignments, coordinating with other project team members and subcontractors, and identifying improvements in productivity and customer service.
What You Will Do
The Construction Foreman will evaluate specifications, provide estimating and scheduling support, identify change conditions, support government inspections, and supervise site personnel. They will also manage and coordinate subcontractors, ensure equipment is properly serviced, and assign adequate labor forces to the project.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a journeyman level recognition in a skill set or specialty trade, a minimum of 5 years of experience in a direct trade, and cross-training and certifications in other construction specialties. They will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in computer skills.
Requirements

- Ability to obtain OSHA 30-hour certification
- Ability to read and understand engineering design drawings, specifications, and applicable technical instructions
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and other applicable programs
