Job Description
Role Overview

Construction Inspector I/II/III/IV/V will inspect construction methods and workmanship to ensure contractors build roadways, bridges, traffic signals, airports, and related structures in accordance with plans and specifications. They will act as consultants regarding work progress and problem resolution. The role requires contact with contractors, performing materials tests, and manufacturing process inspections at fabrication sites.

What You Will Do

The Construction Inspector I/II/III/IV/V will conduct project reviews, coordinate inspections, and ensure adequate levels of equipment and materials are assigned to projects. They will also perform in-plant structural product inspections and intermediate audits, observe and inspect ongoing construction work, and drive/travel to geographically separated fabrication plants/project sites.

Requirements

  • High School Grad or Equivalent in general high school studies
  • Construction experience
  • Safety Impact Certificate
  • Commercial Driver's license and endorsements applicable to the types of vehicles/equipment operated
