Job Description
HDR is looking for a Civil Construction Inspector to conduct observations and inspections of construction projects related to civil infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a technical school or Associate degree, some experience in construction inspection, and strong written communication skills.

Requirements

  • Conduct and document observations of construction as it progresses for civil projects related to civil infrastructure, such as roads, bridges, water/wastewater facilities, pump stations and pipelines
  • Monitor, record and inspect progress on construction projects
  • Coordinate field materials sampling and testing
  • Interpret construction schedules
  • Perform other duties as needed
