Job Description
Arcadis is seeking a Part-time as Needed Construction Inspector to join our Construction Management Team in Sarasota, Florida. The position is on a Part-time as Needed (PTAN) basis, which means the hours assigned will vary depending on the workload in the area. The Construction Inspector will utilize their expertise and technical knowledge of construction inspection, construction field management, QA / QC, and report documentation, on various construction and/or reconstruction projects for municipal water and wastewater treatment, pump stations, SCADA, electrical, civil or other construction projects.

Requirements

  • 10 years of mechanical/civil/utility construction inspection experience
  • Key skills include identifying, analyzing, and providing innovative solutions to problems, along with a high level of math aptitude, ability to multi-task several priorities and possess solid time management skills, and proficiency in MS Office Suite (particularly MS Excel, MS Word, MS SharePoint, and Outlook)
  • Preferred qualifications include 15 or more years of civil/utility construction inspection experience, experience with structural/mechanical/electrical construction inspection activities on small to larger sized infrastructure construction projects, NASSCO ITCP / PACP certifications, ACI or NICET certifications, OSHA 10 Safety and Confined Space Entry Training, and Active participation in a regional or national professional association
