Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Construction Laborer to support roadway and maintenance operations for the Virginia Department of Transportation in Luray, VA. This role involves performing a variety of manual labor tasks in support of construction, maintenance, and traffic control projects to ensure safe and efficient roadway conditions.

Requirements

  • Perform general construction and maintenance labor on roadways and job sites
  • Operate and use a variety of hand tools and basic construction equipment
  • Assist with patching, grading, digging, loading, and material handling
  • Set up and support work zone traffic control as needed
  • Follow all safety procedures and job site regulations
  • Work as part of a team to complete assigned projects efficiently
