Role OverviewThis position is physical in nature and requires someone who is able to be versatile in their abilities. It is the backbone of each crew. The employee will be responsible for ensuring a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures. They will also assist construction/paving crew/plant crew with various duties such as shoveling and raking and running wheelbarrow.
What You Will Do
The employee will perform general labor duties, signal operators of construction equipment, and follow directions of the manager as to daily tasks and expectations. They may be called upon to run small power tools such as a jack hammer. The employee will also be responsible for performing minor servicing and maintenance of equipment, performing daily pre-and-post inspections, and digging, spreading, and leveling construction materials.
