Role OverviewOrion is seeking a hardworking and dependable Construction Laborer to support field construction operations on marine and heavy civil projects throughout Southern Louisiana. The Laborer will work alongside skilled craft workers, perform hands-on work, and support the construction of docks, wharves, ports, and other waterfront infrastructure.
What You Will Do
The incumbent will perform a variety of tasks, including assisting skilled craft workers, moving work pieces, tools, and supplies, and cleaning work pieces. They will also be responsible for supporting the guiding beliefs and core values of Orion, centered on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Teamwork.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of one year of construction or craft worker helper field experience and be able to communicate effectively and work well with other employees. They will also be able to understand and follow specific directions from supervision and have the ability to work without close supervision.
Requirements
- A minimum of one (1) year construction or craft worker helper field experience
- Previous experience in Welding, Pipefitting, Piledriving, or Carpentry is desirable
