Role OverviewAs a Construction Manager at LJA Land Development, you will provide overall construction management services for the Land Development Water/Wastewater Group. This role will help support successful project delivery through construction coordination, constructability review, quality assurance/quality control site visits, schedule organization, submittal review, and cost estimating.
What You Will Do
A typical day might include serving as a liaison between project managers, contractors, and project representatives/inspectors, organizing or attending on-site construction meetings and pre-construction meetings, and reviewing construction plans and contract documents for constructability.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- 5+ years of experience

- Ability to attend on-site construction meetings and pre-construction meetings
- Ability to periodically visit construction sites for QA/QC
- Ability to review construction plans and contract documents for constructability
- Ability to coordinate and organize construction schedules and submittal reviews
- Ability to prepare cost estimates
- Ability to drive to and from various outside meetings
- Ability to inspect water/wastewater facility project sites
- Ability to work under exposure to inclement weather conditions
