Construction Manager (Electrical/I&C)

We are seeking an experienced Electrical-focused Construction Manager to support a major pharmaceutical construction project. This role will manage field execution, contractor coordination, safety, quality, schedule, cost, and technical compliance for electrical and I&C scopes.

What You Will Do

Determine labor requirements and dispatch workers to construction sites. Inspect and analyze projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations. Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with electrical construction, power distribution, electrical distribution systems, control systems, construction safety, and pharmaceutical/life sciences projects. Electrical experience is the top priority; I&C experience is preferred.

Requirements

• Strong technical knowledge of electrical construction systems
• Experience with power distribution systems, electrical distribution systems, and electrical infrastructure
• Working knowledge of Instrumentation & Controls, control systems, and related construction interfaces
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences, or regulated industrial construction
• Demonstrated experience preparing and negotiating contracts, revisions, change orders, etc.
• Experience investigating and reporting damage, accidents and delays on construction sites
• Experience preparing and delivering budget estimates and progress and cost reports
• Demonstrated success in planning, managing and coordinating all aspects of a project schedule, scope and cost
• Utilize effective written and oral communication skills

• Experience building successful relationships with peers, leaders, and clients
• Demonstrate ability to be dependable, diligent, and thorough
